Ballycastle District ILOL No 2 were the hosts for this years Co. Antrim Demonstration in Armoy.  It was the first time since 1976 that the demonstration was held in Armoy.  Warm sunshine greeted the Lodges & Bands as they arrived at the field on the Gracehill Road.  The main parade moved off at 1pm with Imperial, County & Ballycastle District Officers at the head.  The parade did a full circuit of the village before returning to the field.  The County Grand Master Wor Bro James Anderson chaired the platform proceedings which commenced at 2.30pm.  Wor Bro Drew McIntyre IGC opened in prayer & Wor Bro Derek McFarland CGCA read the scripture.  Wor Bro David Johnston CGSA read the Resoloutions which were proposed by Wor Bro James McClure MBE PIGM, PCGM & seconded by Wor Bro Sammy Henry DCGMA.  The Imperial Grand Master RT Wor Bro R W Glass give his address (see Grand Master's Speech).  The main speaker was the Rev Thomas Murray. A slight rain shower passed over during the proceedings but had moved away before the return parade.  The return parade commenced at 4pm bringing to an end another great day.
