The annual Battle of the Somme commemoration organised by Ballymoney District ILOL took place on Saturday 26th June. The parade, which was led this year by Ballymaconnelly Sons of Conquerors FB, marched to the War Memorial for a short Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying ceremony. Bro. Mervyn Storey MLA conducted the ceremony. The parade then continued around Ballymoney. As in previous years, the organisers extend a welcome to members of the other Loyal Orders also took part.
